Village boys led this game by 5 points in the closing stages of the game but a late surge saw Ballyhale score 1-2 to draw the game at full-time. In extra time Ballyhale Shamrocks took over and won the game finding score much easier to come by. A very strong performance by the Village.One very positive note was that Philip Larkin played full game at no:6 and was very commanding throughout!
